Wide receiver Darrell Jackson joined the Seattle Seahawks from the University of Florida in the 2000 NFL draft and led that year's rookie class with 53 receptions, 713 yards, and six touchdowns, earning him All-Rookie Team honors and a Seattle P-I Sports Star of the Year nomination. In his four years with the Seahawks, Darrell has caught 253 passes for 3,808 yards and 27 touchdowns. Darrell has led the Seahawks in receiving twice, in 2003 with 68 receptions for 1,137 yards and nine touchdowns, and in 2001 with 70 catches for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns.
Darrell, who as a youth was a member of the Tampa Bay Boys & Girls Clubs, has been a spokesperson and volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County since 2003. Recently, Darrell stepped up and joined the organization’s Board of Governors reaffirming his commitment to the Puget Sound community he calls home during the football season.
